For the fourth time in our history, Epic IT has been recognised as one of Australia’s fastest-growing IT companies. We placed 33rd overall in the 2025 techpartner.news Fast50 — the programme formerly known as the CRN Fast50 — and 6th in the Momentum Builders category.
This is not a one-off. We have now appeared on this list in 2013, 2018, 2024, and 2025. Sustained growth over more than a decade tells a different story to a single spike — it reflects a business that keeps investing, keeps improving, and keeps delivering for its clients.
The techpartner.news Fast50 (previously CRN Fast50) is now in its 17th year and remains the only awards programme in Australian IT that ranks companies purely on hard revenue numbers. No subjective judging panels, no popularity contests. You either grew or you did not.
The 2025 Fast50 announcement confirmed 50 companies across five revenue brackets. In FY25, the cohort reported a combined revenue of $1.2 billion with an average growth rate of 67 percent. Epic IT reported FY25 revenue of $6.7 million with 17 percent year-on-year growth, earning us 6th place in the Momentum Builders bracket (companies with FY24 revenue between $3 million and $7 million).
For a Perth-based managed IT services provider competing against firms from Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane — many of which operate in markets several times our size — that is a result we are proud of.
Our first appearance was back in 2013, when the Fast50 was still run under the CRN Australia brand. We were a much smaller operation then. The fact that we have returned to this list three more times since — spanning more than a decade — says something about the way we run this business.
We do not chase growth for growth’s sake. Every year we have appeared on the Fast50, the growth was driven by the same fundamentals: doing excellent work for existing clients, earning referrals, and expanding our capabilities in areas where Perth businesses need help most — particularly cybersecurity and compliance.

There is no single silver bullet. Our growth in FY25 came from a combination of factors that we have been building toward for years.
Security as a core service, not an add-on. We made a deliberate decision to build cybersecurity into every engagement we deliver. Our alignment with frameworks like SMB1001 and the Essential Eight means clients get measurable, auditable protection — which matters more than ever now that mandatory ransomware reporting is enforced in Australia.
Deeper relationships with existing clients. We would rather do more for the clients who already trust us than chase volume. That approach builds loyalty and reduces churn, which compounds over time.
Investing in our people. Growth means nothing if it comes at the cost of the team delivering the work. We have continued to invest in training, certifications, and capacity so that quality does not slip as we scale.
Western Australia is not always the first market people think of when they picture fast-growing IT companies. Most Fast50 firms are based on the east coast. But Perth’s business community has real strengths — particularly in industries like mining and resources, construction, and professional services — and those businesses need IT partners who understand their environment.
We have been operating from North Perth since 2003. More than two decades of local presence means we understand the challenges WA businesses face in ways that a national provider parachuting in from Sydney simply cannot replicate.
We are not slowing down. Our focus for 2026 is on deepening our cybersecurity and compliance capabilities, expanding our vCIO and strategic advisory services, and continuing to grow with the clients and industries that depend on us.
A fourth Fast50 appearance is a milestone worth acknowledging. But the real measure of success is not a ranking — it is whether the businesses we support are more secure, more productive, and better positioned than they were before they partnered with us.
Evaluate your current IT provider’s track record. Sustained growth in a competitive market is a strong signal that an MSP is investing in its people, processes, and capabilities. If your provider has been static for years, ask what that means for the quality of service you are receiving.
Review your cybersecurity posture. The businesses growing fastest in Australian IT are the ones investing heavily in security. If your IT partner is not talking to you about Essential Eight, SMB1001, or compliance frameworks, that is a gap worth closing.
