Meta data deletion instructions

Epic Enterprises WA Pty Ltd, trading as Epic IT (“Epic IT”, “we”), operates the Epic IT MCP Bridge app on Meta’s platform. The app lets our staff and our clients’ authorised staff connect their own Facebook account to the Epic IT MCP Bridge, so that an AI assistant can work with the Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts and ad accounts they manage, at their request.

This page explains what we hold, how you can remove the app’s access yourself, and how to ask us to delete your data.

What we hold

  • Your Meta access token. When you connect your Facebook account, we store the access token Meta issues to the app, encrypted, so the connector can act for you on later requests. It is linked to your MCP Bridge account and to nobody else.
  • Activity records. The MCP Bridge keeps a security and audit log of each request made through it: who made it, when, which action was used, what was asked for and what came back. For the Meta connector this can include Page, Instagram, comment, insight or ad details that were returned to you. We keep these records to investigate problems, meet our security obligations and show who did what.
  • Your AI assistant conversations. Results you ask for are shown to you in your AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic). Those conversations are held under your own Claude account and its settings, not by Epic IT; you can delete them in Claude.

We do not sell Meta data, use it for advertising, or combine it with other data about you. The connector reads from Meta each time you ask; it does not keep its own copy of your Pages, posts or ad accounts.

Remove the app’s access yourself

  1. In Facebook (immediate): go to Settings and privacy > Settings > Business integrations (or Apps and websites), find Epic IT MCP Bridge and select Remove. This revokes the app’s access at Meta straight away, so the stored token can no longer be used.
  2. In the MCP Bridge: sign in to your MCP Bridge (for most clients https://bridge.epicit.com.au) and open My connections, then select Disconnect next to your Meta connection. This deletes the stored token from the Bridge and asks Meta to remove the app’s access. You can also ask your MCP Bridge administrator, or email support@epicit.com.au, to do it for you.

Ask us to delete your data

Email support@epicit.com.au with the subject “Meta data deletion request” and include the name and email address you use with the MCP Bridge (and, if you can, your Facebook name or Page name so we can find the right records). You do not need an MCP Bridge account to make a request, for example if your comment or profile appeared in data the app read for one of our users.

Within 30 days of receiving your request we will:

  • delete any stored Meta access token for you;
  • delete the MCP Bridge activity records that contain data the app received from Meta about you;
  • confirm by email what we deleted.

If we have to keep a record to meet a legal obligation, we will tell you what we kept and why, and delete it when that obligation ends.
