Meet the Team

Founding the company back in 2006, Greg has since grown Epic IT into a thriving business but not without the help of his dedicated and hardworking team. With over 15 years’ experience in ICT, Greg is not only ITIL certified but also holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering and a Degree in Computer Science.

Greg these days is a little less “hands on” and has been superseded by a very talented team. A team that clearly share his passion in innovation, service excellence and attention to detail. Instead Greg now focuses more on forging great relationships, partnerships and pursuing business opportunities.

Away from the office, Greg loves spending time with his family in the great outdoors where he can often be found next to, in or on the water. Or he is watching the footy.

Zheng joined the VCIO / account management team towards the end of 2021. Having worked previously at another Perth managed IT services company in business development, Zheng brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Epic IT team. Drawing on this experience, Zheng delivers VCIO, account management and IT strategy services to our customers and is also playing a key role in helping develop next generation managed IT service offerings. Solutions that will provide more secure and collaborative systems to our customers and help streamline internal Epic IT processes.

Zheng holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Curtin University and over 13 years of BDM experience. He loves his sports and fantasy leagues, which resonates well with the rest of the team. In between all of this, he is helping raise a beautiful family and still finds time as an active crypto currency trader.

Matt joined the team in 2013 as a service consultant and has quickly advanced his career at Epic IT. Matt is as focused and hardworking as they come with a strong passion for service delivery. Matt holds numerous Microsoft certifications and is also ITIL Service certified.

These days Matt has moved more into a service management role and is currently the team leader and service coordinator of the group. Since Matt moved into this role, Epic IT has enjoyed an all-time high customer feedback rating which is a testament to his hard work in this area.

As a self-confessed gym junkie and Aussie rules footy fanatic, Matt is very committed to his sports and health which requires a great deal of discipline and dedication. It is this very same attitude Matt brings into the office each day, along with 20kgs of body building supplements.

Kiahn joined our Projects and Account Management team in early 2023 to support our growing customer’s success. Throughout this time, Kiahn was working closely with our customers in developing and deploying new ICT solutions and services. But more recently in 2024, Kiahn has transitioned into the operations side of the business where he focuses his energy on the proactive services of the company.

Having over 7 years of experience in Managed IT Services, Kiahn is leveraging his previous work experiences to further build his skills and methodologies to deliver exceptional management and solutions to our customers.

As a passionate supporter of sport and massive fitness enthusiast, Kiahn was an instant fit with our team wasting no time participating in our frequent NBA and AFL debates. When Kiahn is not working, he enjoys checking out new clubs, lounges and restaurants within the Perth social scene and catching up with friends.

Cris joined the team in 2024. Cris is a talented account manager, having worked for a number of managed service providers (MSP’s) over many years, and brings a wealth of knowledge to our operations at Epic IT. Cris has a strong client focus and operates as if he works for the client when it comes to recommending technology solutions for business improvement. Cris has worked with a variety of industries which range from corporate, mining, local government and education, and has a good understanding of IT trends and technologies in those industries.

When Cris isnt helping his customers kick goals, he spends time with his young family. On the topic of kicking goals, this avid Fremantle Dockers supporter loves his footy and can sometimes be seen sneaking in a quick online gaming session between AFL matches.

Shane is the senior technical account manager for Epic IT. As he is also very technical, he spends a lot of his time on solution design and RnD putting him in a position where he can always recommend the most optimal solutions for our customers. Shane’s addition to the team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge having helped establish and run a successful Managed Service Provider business in Sydney, NSW.

Shane loves his sports, particularly Basketball and while he spends his up time frequently above the hoop his down time is more reserved for taking trips with his young family to Margaret River to escape IT even if its just for short moment.

David joined the team in 2015 as an experienced service engineer. Having spent many years in both remote and onsite service desk roles, David brings plenty of knowledge to our team. In recent times David has started wearing multiple hats for Epic IT working within technical sales although you can still catch him on the phone driving a cloud migration or providing calm and collected support.

David is not only as cool as a cucumber when it comes to ICT support, he actually grows his own at home! As a keen citrus and vegetable cultivator you can often find him nurturing his prized possessions in his backyard together with his wife and new born. David is also very passionate about his DC and Marvel. A true superman with many secret talents and interests.

Natalie was brought into the company for her extensive experience working in end user desktop IT hardware and software sales. Natalie’s role involves the end to end procurement lifecycle of quoting, ordering and processing client equipment, subscriptions and software.

Natalie is on the ball with ensuring the business procurement processes are ticking away and purchases are being successfully received by our customers. Natalie is a lover of animals and the outdoors and when not in the office likes to spend her time exercising with her pooch.

Nikki works in Finance and Payroll. She has extensive experiencing in accounting and financial controls for small businesses. Over the years, she has helped Epic IT transform and improve many internal processes and we cannot thank her enough for this.

According to the entire team, Nikki is considered the most important staff member at Epic IT because she pays them. But while Nikki spends a lot of time juggling and managing the finances in the office, she spends a lot more time outside the office juggling and managing her young children and family.

Kelly will be the friendly voice you may find yourself talking to and is here to not only help the team but also assist you with any administration needs or enquiries you may have. Kelly has extensive experience in managing people and complex HR issues.

Outside the office, Kelly makes the most of her opportunity and spends the time with her family. As an appreciator of the great outdoors, she can be frequently found in a caravan exploring our beautiful state of Western Australia.

Having completed multiple degrees and certifications, Aaron is the brains behind a lot of the innovation and integration oozing out of our design engine room at Epic IT. He can integrate into anything and has been driving and directing the development of many of our Microsoft 365 and Azure data security systems. Aaron these days spends less time fixing and more time creating however Aaron is still known to provide top notch support when duty calls.

When not creating things, Aaron likes to remain informed and updated on world events.

Joining Epic IT in 2011, Luke’s broad skill set is highly complemented by his advanced networking experience. He is our longest serving staff member and there is nothing Luke cannot accomplish to achieve a secure and reliable network. Luke has also largely been involved in the design and commissioning of our unique cloud infrastructure and integrations, as well as providing general support to all of our clients.

In his spare time Luke loves his photography as it is another thing he very good at. So good, he has had his work published in various magazines. He even took his own photo here.

Jake joined our talented projects team towards the end of 2023. Jake draws on his extensive software development and system integration background in helping drive more intelligent and automated system management for our customers. By leveraging various Artificial Intelligence (AI), programming and automation platforms, this talented developer is helping Epic keep ahead of the curve by innovating smarter solutions that will not only benefit our customers, but also improve our ability to manage them.

Jake brings to the team a broad background of experience in many industries, along with his university and industry certifications. This Murdoch University graduate brings to Epic IT many years of consultation and business analytical experience, having worked alongside senior management, business owners and key decision makers throughout his extensive career before joining our team.

As a man who loves to solve problems, Jake is definitely a “Mr Fix it” when it comes to working on home DIY and automation projects, and of course unwinding by spending quality time with his young family.

Having recently graduated from North Metro TAFE completing a Cert IV and Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security, Joshua briefly worked at a private educational college within the IT department before joining the Epic IT front line team.

Joshua is very active in the cyber security community, as a regular volunteer and participant in AISA (Australian Information Security Association) events. Joshua will continue to build his skills and experience in service desk, projects and cyber security while complementing Epic IT’s cyber security services and offerings.

In his spare time Joshua is a very keen magnet fisherman. While this may sound like an uncommon hobby, he definitely doesn’t “walk alone” supporting his beloved premier league side.

Ancel joined our Perth Managed IT Services team half way through 2022, helping support our growing customer portfolio. Since joining Ancel has already received fantastic feedback and glowing reviews from both his peers and customers.

Having finished top of his class at university, Ancel is armed with a double degree in Business Information Technology and Commerce. Ancel is tapping into his studies and prior experience and working towards becoming a Microsoft Azure system administrator for Epic IT. The entire Epic family is excited to watch this talented man progress his career and reach his goals with us.

While Ancel has a proven ability to troubleshoot and help people, he is also very active in sports such as mixed martial arts (MMA) and weightlifting. A perfect way to unwind from a hard day at the office!

Denzel joined our Managed IT Services team in May 2024, making it at the time our largest team to date. A testament to our ongoing growth and further evidence of Epic IT being one of the fastest growing MSP’s in Perth.

Denzel brings with him, a couple of years experience in the industry having worked with other well known Managed IT Service Providers in Perth, before joining our ranks. Keen to super charge his career with us, this young man, brings a ton of energy to our North Perth office and was very attracted to Epic IT’s team culture and focus on career development. As a natural team player, Denzel thrives in collaborative team environments and has really found his place amoungst our other like minded members.

As a keen car enthusiest in his down time, Denzel enjoys working on his “boys toys” and hoisting engines, in addition to spending time with his very young family.

Stephen joined the Managed IT Services team in 2024.

This talented service technician brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and genuine passion from both the IT and AV industry. In addition to working with IT providers, Stephen has worked on many large events across the country managing the audio / visual and IT setups of stages show casing some of the biggest acts to tour Australia and brings a broad skillset and edge to complement our managed IT service department.

When this IT enthusiast isn’t working, Stephen can be found kicking back creating tunes in his home studio. As a musician at heart, we are lucky to have Stephen bringing this same creative thinking to the IT space at Epic IT.

Max joined our Managed IT Service team back in 2023 to support our rapidly growing client base. It didnt take long for our customers to have the pleasure of meeting our latest addition to the crew over the phone, with Max having an immediate impact racking up positive reviews.

Max is armed with a double major degree in Cyber Security / Forensics AND Internetworking / Network Security. This talented young man is already applying his knowledge in networking and security, by helping deploy, support and further develop the innovative IT solutions we offer our customers.

Max is a man of many hobbies and interests, so when he is not working, he spends his downtime getting stuck into roller blading, gaming and creative drawing. Not simultaneously, of course… or can he?

Daniel joined our Managed IT Services team in January 2024. Daniel did not waste any time in making an immediate impact on our busy IT service desk. Instantly receiving high praise from our customers.

Daniel has a diverse background in IT and Creative Media. As a Murdoch University graduate, this talented man brings a wide range of industry skills and experiences to the Epic IT family, as he continues his career progression with us. We were very excited to have him join our Managed IT team.

When Daniel isn’t solving IT problems, he can be often found exercising his creative mind a little differently. By smashing out master pieces on his trusty Wacom tablet.

Shayne joined the team in 2022, having gained many years of experience in various technical support roles. One of Shayne’s greatest assets is her strong attention to detail, along with excellent judgement. With these skills, Shayne is currently working in the role of service administration for Epic IT, helping with service ticket management, dispatch, documentation and end user management.

Between work and busy family life, Shayne still finds time to polish her skills, playing guitar and cooking up a storm in the kitchen. As a bright lady with many talents, Shayne has been an important asset to the team from day one. The team is excited to see her continued success and contributions to our ongoing growth.

Evan joined the Managed IT Services team in Perth, beginning of 2024. As a bright, highly motivated lad, Evan didnt take too long to integrate with the team and have a positive impact.

Evan is currently completing his Diploma in Cyber Security and is already applying his IT knowledge in supporting our growing client base. As a fast learner, Evan is eager to continue developing his IT and cyber security skills with the team.

When Evan is not working he is very passionate in exercising and keeping himself fit. He also loves a good movie and even enjoys providing comprehensive reviews on the latest flick seen.

Francis joined our service team in March 2024, to assist with service ticket management and proactive services. Francis made a fantastic start already working closely with our service leadership team, to help free up some of their time and fine tune our administrative processes.

Francis has an IT / software development background and will be soon putting this skillset into play by helping Epic IT improve its service ticket management processes. This talented man will also be helping the service desk team with IT requests as he continues to grow his IT and software development skills with us.

Francis spends his downtime by learning and expanding his IT knowledge with home labs he has setup. He also writes applications and software, some of which are used to help his family’s Carnarvon farming business, in controlling machinery and reticulation systems remotely.

Ivan joined the Managed IT Services team in April 2024. In the past few years, this talented man has slowly gravitated towards the IT industry. Having worked previously as Petrophysicist, Ivan is a seasoned professional who has already put his IT smarts in practice.

Ivan holds both a bachelor and masters in engineering. Graduating recently, this newest Epic IT consultant has added a Diploma in IT (Advanced Networking) to his long list of credentials. Ivan is very excited to be growing his IT skills and experience with Epic IT and is really looking forward to working more closely with our clients.

When Ivan isn’t working, he is continually expanding his skill set and IT knowledge by setting up home labs. This hard working man also loves the outdoors, sports and gaming online with friends.

Alona joined the Managed IT Services department in 2024.

As an experienced IT service technician / coordinator, Alona is our service department’s primary dispatcher / service coordinator. In addition to technical coordination of jobs, this talented professional brings a vast background of technical expertise to the company, along with a very healthy appetite to document IT systems. Which means Alona will not only be servicing, refining and improving many facets of our service administration, but she will also be getting on the tools providing technical support to our customers.

When she is not working, Alona enjoys her down time reading novels, catching up on her favourites TV series and even escaping into the outdoors. Preferably, all three at the same time.

Randall is our design and marketing creative director and as an experienced contractor running his own very successful consultancy firm, we are extremely lucky to be utilising his professional services at Epic IT for well over 10 years now.

Randall’s extreme professionalism and credentials are only exceeded by his “fro” with the talented designer bringing a wide range of skills in design, animation and social networking. Having worked with the likes of the Microsoft, Nike, Target and the ABC TV network, Randall ensures Epic IT is kept on the forefront of online marketing and technologies. When Randall is not creating things, you’ll find him playing guitar for his newborn son, sampling elegant wines or partaking in exquisite cheese tastings in cities most of us cannot pronounce.
