What we are offering?
The Asset Management Program is a new program offered by EPICIT to catalogue the IT equipment owned by your organisation. It is essential to know what IT apparatus your company owns, as well as the make and model of each piece of equipment. EPICIT will ‘tag’ your computer, server and I.T equipment with a company specific code and extract the specifications of each asset item. We will then generate a document which will present detailed information on all your IT equipment, at click of a button.
Why you need it?
How many PC’s/Laptops are operating in your organisation? Which computers are owned by the company and which are owned by the employee? If you cannot answer these questions, then the Asset Management Program is for your company. An exact listing of all your companies IT equipment has the following advantages:

What it involves?
The Asset Management Program involves a series of steps to identify what equipment you have, then documenting this information and linking it to specialised software. The steps involved are outlined below
- The EPICIT team will visit your premises and ‘tag’ each bit of IT equipment with a tailor-made label that displays the item’s asset code.
- The EPICIT team member will obtain a rough sketch of the layout of your organisation and include the relevant location of each piece of equipment.
- For each item tagged, certain information will be obtained such as the make and model of the item, what it attaches to, who uses it, etc.
- On each Server/PC/Laptop, a specific application will be run to obtain the computer’s hardware and software specifications.
- This information will then be recorded and documented.
- This document will then be linked to specialised graphical software. This software will display the location of each IT component in the building, and also display the specifications of each piece of equipment.
How much will it cost?
The processes and procedures involved in the Asset Management Program are very similar to an audit. The cost of the program will depend on how much equipment you have, and is charged on an hourly basis. We are flexible with the equipment you wish to tag, although we recommend tagging all Servers, PCs, Laptops. Monitors, Printers, Scanners, Routers, Switches.
